<p>PURPOSE:To make a control circuit simple and small in size by bringing a 1st and a 2nd striped electrode into mutual contact by depression from outside, and detecting the coordinates of the depression position through the application of a reference voltage and the detection of the potential. CONSTITUTION:The striped electrodes 102 and 104 which have both ends connected in common, consist of plural parallel arranged electrodes, and cross each other at right angles contact each other at the depression position by the depression by a pen 106 as a specifying means. At this time, when the reference voltage Vref is applied across the electrode 102, the electrode 104 divides the reference voltage Vref at the depression position. For the purpose, the potential of the electrode 104 is measured through a potential measuring means 113 to detect the lengthwise position coordinate of the electrode 102. Similarly, the potential of the electrode 102 is detected at the time of the application of the reference voltage to the electrode 104 to detect the lengthwise position coordinate of the electrode 104. Consequently, the detection is easily performed without limiting the specifying means nor scanning many striped electrodes.</p> |
