<p>PURPOSE: To provide a proximity sensor and an induced position transducer wherein a sensor wire, an electron supply circuit, and a means which detects a metal by detecting a maximum electric loss and reduction in sensor wire inductance are provided. CONSTITUTION: A transformer 34 and an electronic control circuit are supported on a printed circuit 42, and a sensor wire 44 are provided an the opposite site. In order to minimize an inductance and a secondary dispersion resistance, each transformer is directory supported an the sensor wire 44, and supplied by a metallized hole 46. When a scale 54 passes in front of a sensor wire 52 comprising a series of coils of a short circuit, a magnetic flux Bc of the short circuit becomes maximum, and then, becomes minimum. The loss induced from the sensor wire 52 shows sine-shape as a function of relative action position between the scale 54 and the sensor wire 52. Measurement is obtained as an average of one or more short circuits, thus, the importance of mechanical inaccuracy existing locally on the scale is assured.</p> |
