PURPOSE:To obtain the subject KIRITANPO (a Japanese style food prepared by toasting a boiled rice stick) of excellent preservation and good taste by toasting a stick of ground boiled rice, coating the KIRITANPO with a specific MISO paste, toasting it until the paste is dried, placing the product in a vessel followed by packing and refrigeration. CONSTITUTION:Boiled rice is ground into a paste, the paste is toasted until it is colored brown, and a stick of ground rice (KIRITANPO) is coated with a MISO paste containing MISO, sugar, malt syrup, water and salt, the coated stick is toasted until the syrup coat dries. The toasted KIRITANPO is placed into a vessel, packed into a pouch then rapidly frozen, or frozen then packed to give the subject KIRITANPO. |
