A method of controlling arthropod pests at a locus which comprises applying to or treating the locus with, as active ingredient (ai) an effective amount of a compound of formula (I) <CHEM> wherein: R is hydroxyl and M is hydrogen or an alkali metal, alkaline earth metal or aluminium; or R is alkoxy of 1 to 4 carbon atoms and M is an alkali metal, alkaline earth metal or aluminium; and n is 1, 2 or 3; and insecticidal compositions effective to control arthropod pests containing compounds of formula (I). |
