Photographic prints are often supplied by shops in paper bags or plastic-lined bags which often also contain a smaller bag holding the photographic negatives. The present invention provides a packaging for photographic prints in the form of a box having at least one flat side on which the box can be placed and/or a photographic print can be presented so as to be visible. The packaging box according to the present invention has the further advantage that the staff of the photographer's shop, prior to handing the photographic prints to the customer, are more or less forced to select one of the best photographs, since the packaging box demands this. This means that in practice it is virtually impossible to forget this.
