PURPOSE:To improve printing quality of a color image by providing an interlock release mechanism releasing a driving motor and a dust ejection mechanism during execution of an image transfer in a shared driving mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive drum 2 is rotated and driven in a state where a screw 17 is stopped by having a one way clutch 25 moved interlocked with a forward rotation of the driving motor 23 while another one way clutch 26 is run idly. When completion of image transferring is detected by detecting the number of revolution of the driving motor 23 or ejected printing paper 15, etc., the forward rotation of the drive motor 23 is changed over to a reverse rotation and the motor is driven for a specified time. When the driving motor 23 is rotated in reverse, since a photosensitive drum 2 is stopped and a screw 17 is driven by having one of the one way clutches 25 and 26 run idly while the other is moved interlocked, the dust deposited in a drum cleaner 3 due to the image transferring is carried to a dust container. |
