<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a microprocessor where the protection of a program is strong by adding a signal line transmitting an instruction set which directly uses an ID register storing peculiar recognition information as an operand. CONSTITUTION:Not only a general-purpose register 10 but also an ID register 9 can directly be designated for the operand instruction of the instruction. They are jump (jmp [ID]) to an address shown by the ID register 9 and the sub- routine call (call [ID]) of the address shown by the ID register 9. At the time of executing difference processings in accordance with the content of the ID register 9, jump can be executed without destroying the content of the other general-purpose register 10 which is used at that time by one instruction of the system of jmp [ID]. Thus, software compatibility between the microprocessors different in the contents of the ID register 9 can be eliminated so as to realize the protection of the program by using the instruction referring to the ID register 9.</p> |
