The invention relates to a system for positioning and mounting sets of front discs of implements for preparing the ground, more commonly termed cover-crop or disc harrows. The sets of front discs are offset and mutually parallel. This system allows all the discs to work at the same depth in the ground, which gives rise to an even wear of all the discs. The discs operating at the same depth give rise to more even preparation of the ground. It is made up of a chassis (1) in which are rotationally guided shafts (2) and (3) of the rear set of discs, the shafts (4) and (5) of the front set of discs. The discs (6) are mounted secured to the shafts (2), (3), (4) and (5). The preparation of the ground takes place via the longitudinal displacement of the chassis with the aid of a tractor. <IMAGE>
