WAVEFORM MEASURING INSTRUMENT

PURPOSE:To provide the waveform measuring instrument which can display a measured waveform and digital information on the same screen while reducing the overlap of the measured waveform and digital information. CONSTITUTION:The waveform measuring instrument that is so constituted as to display the measured waveform and digital information on a common display unit is composed of a display area judging circuit 4 which divides the display screen of the display unit into at least two display areas and judges whether or not the measured waveform is displayed in each of the display areas according to display position information on the measured waveform and a display control part 3 which displays the digital information in the display area where the measured waveform is not displayed or in the low-display-density area according to the judgement result of the display area judging circuit 4.
