<p>PURPOSE:To provide a picture processor by which an enlarged picture can be obtained while holding a picture quality. CONSTITUTION:Inputted picture data are temporarily stored in a frame memory 103, and read out by (n)X(m) picture block units by a block segmenting part 104. The read picture blocks are converted by an orthogonal converter 105, and interpolated to the larger block size by a phase space interpolation equipment 106. The data obtained by the interpolation are returned to the picture data again by an inversion orthogonal converter 107, and outputted.</p> |
