PURPOSE:To automatically repair a destroyed extended driver before starting a resume operation at a system utilizing the extended driver. CONSTITUTION:A start address and an end address at the program part of the extended driver are read (S1), and the check-somes of respective word data in the program part are counted next (S2). Afterwards, the check-some obtained by counting is compared with a correct check-some (S3) and when all both check-somes are not coincident, it is judged that the program part is destroyed. Then, the normal extended driver is reloaded from a prescribed storage medium. |
