Lightweight plastics bottles are unstable and tend to fall over during handling into and out of bottle washing machines. To avoid problems of bottle stability during transfer from the baskets to the conveyor(5), the guiding surfaces of chutes (1) and transfer arms (3) are equipped with low pressure suction orifices (6).
