PURPOSE:To suppress switching distortion in a circuit that boosts the electric power-supply voltage of an amplifier in accordance with an input signal, by inserting an inductance element in series to a diode turning on-off approximately at the electric power-supply voltage. CONSTITUTION:Amplifier 2 connected to load 3, when its output level is within a certain range less than an electric power-supply voltage, operates as a normal amplifier and is applied with electric power voltage from electric power-supply supply 10 by way of diodes 8 and 9, but once it exceeds the above-mentioned range, capacitor 6 is driven in the positive direction by electric driving part 4 when veiwed from the positive voltage side, diode 8 turns off and the electric power-supply voltage of amplifier 2 is boosted in the positive direction, so that amplifier 2 continues amplification without clipping. To round electric back current flowing when diode 8 turns off, back electromotive force is generated at inductance element 11. Simultaneously, the back current is made to by-pass via capacitor 13 to suppress the switching distortion of diode 8. |
