<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the foaming of the lubricating oil at starting the compressor of a car air-conditioner or the like and the liquid compression resulting from it as well as the lowering of the refrigerating capacity of the refrigerating cycle by separating the oil storage chamber from the flow of refrigerant by means of a partition. CONSTITUTION:Since an oil storage chamber 10 is separated from a suction passage chamber 6b and a discharge passage chamber by a covering wall 23 surrounding a swash plate 2, the lubricating oil raised up by the rotation of the swash plate 2 drops in the oil storage chamber 10 again after lubricating each part. Also the lubricating oil having lubricated a shaft seal 19 returns to the oil storage chamber 10 side, since the shaft seal 19 is separated by a partition 8c of a side housing 8. Consequently, no lubricating oil contact with refrigerant, and even when the pressure in a suction chamber 8b or the suction passage chamber 6b largely lowers, the low pressure is never introduced to the oil storage chamber 10 side. Thus, the foaming of the lubricating oil and the liquid compression resulting from it can be completely prevented.</p> |
