PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF FIBREBOARDS FROM WOOD PARTICLE AGGLOMERATES AND ISOCYANATE AS BINDER

A process for manufacturing fibreboards from lump-like wood particles and isocyanate as binder is disclosed, the wood particles being heated under steam pressure and in the process comminuted to form fibres. The fibres are transferred by means of a blowing operation (3) with expansion into a dryer (6) and dried there. The isocyanate is sprayed onto the fibres after they leave the blowing operation (3) and before the drying.
