<p>PURPOSE:To enable secure sucking of an imaging material even in any kind of environmental conditions and provide a high-density image by forming an endless belt which supportingly conveys the imaging material out of a thermal plastic polyimide film having a specified thickness. CONSTITUTION:In a conveying mechanism of a hot-melt type ink jet, an imaging material 1 is supplied from the direction of the arrow by means of a feeding roller 5, supported smoothly by means of a belt 2 having a number of sucking holes, and conveyed toward a print head 4. An airtight enclosure 8 connected to a sucking fan 7 in an arrangement so as to enclose a platen 6 of lattice hole shape is provided. This arrangement allows the imaging material 1 to be surely sucked to the belt which is closely attached to the platen 6 and conveyed thereby. The belt 2 is constituted by a thermal plastic polyimide film of 50-200mum, and the diameter of the sucking holes formed on the belt is set to 0.2-1.0mm, thereby the deformation and the deterioration of the belt due to local heating can be prevented.</p> |
