PURPOSE:To effectively prevent the intrusion of a dirt into a washing nozzle and also its intrusion into a washing channel, and provide an endoscope more improved in cleanliness. CONSTITUTION:An expansible and contractible balloon 25 capable of opening and blocking the opening part 18 of a washing channel 23 is circumferentially provided on the top end side inner part of the washing channel 23 provided in an endoscope, and two air sending/water sending lumens 26 with narrow diameters communicating with an air sending/water sending means provided on a light source device side are provided in parallel to the washing channel 23 to allow the air sending/water sending lumens 26 to communicate with the balloon 25. When the washing channel 23 is not used, the balloon 25 is expanded so that the washing channel 23 can be blocked. |
