PURPOSE:To obtain the subject easily removable packaging material composed of an inner packaging material and an outer packaging material bonded with each other with a sealing part surrounding an outer wrapping member and containing packaged rod-like cooked rice, etc., in a state visible from outside by specifying the inner packaging material and the outer packaging material. CONSTITUTION:The outer packaging material 1 of the objective packaging material is a transparent film easily tearable in longitudinal direction and having a length longer than the circumferential length of the rod-like cooked rice 20 to be packaged and a width longer than the length of the rod-like cooked rice in axial direction. A transparent synthetic resin film extendible to both lateral sides of a laver sheet 3 used as an outer wrapping member is used as a pair of inner packaging materials 2a, 2b. The outer wrapping member shorter than the circumferential length of the rod-like cooked rice is placed on the central part of the outer packaging material, a pair of inner packaging materials to be extended to both lateral sides of the outer wrapping member are placed in an overlapped state at the center of the outer packaging material and the outer wrapping member in lateral direction and the inner packaging material is bonded to the outer packaging material with a sealing part surrounding the circumference of the outer wrapping member to form edge parts 7.
