摘要 |
PURPOSE:To provide on the industrial basis a carbon molding for neg. electrode excellent in the volume efficiency and the heavy load charging characteristics, in particular the neg. electrode of a lithium secondary battery and batteries themselves. CONSTITUTION:An admixture of carbon powder and a carbonaceous binder is molded and baked in a nitrogen atmosphere. Thus a carbon molding for neg. electrode and a secondary battery using this material as the neg. electrode are provided, wherein the lattice plane spacing (d002) due to X-ray diffraction lies in the extent 3.38-3.56Angstrom and the three-point bending strength at room temperature is no less than 100kgf/cm<2>. |
