PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive and compact radio temperature measuring instrument capable of remote measurement at a short distance. CONSTITUTION:A responder 10 is provided with a temperature measuring part 16, and this part 16 is connected to an information storage part 15 through an amplifier 17 and an AD converter 18. The electric signal from the measuring part 16 is amplified by the amplifier 17 and is digitized in the AD converter 18 by A/D conversion and is stored in a RAM of the information storage part 15. These processings are executed based on the program stored in the ROM of the information storage part 15 by the microprocessor in the part 15. Start of temperature measurement, setting of a measurement condition, and transmission of measured data to an interrogator 20 are executed based on instructions from the interrogator 20. Measured data is transferred to the interrogator 20 in accordance with the instruction from the interrogator 20, and the responder 10 modulates a non-modulated transmission medium sent from the interrogator 20 based on measured data stored in the RAM and transmits it to the interrogator 20. |
