PURPOSE:To easily insert desired image data into the arbitrary position of a document and to shorten time for preparing the document by moving a handwrite area to be inserted with the image data to the arbitrary position on a display screen. CONSTITUTION:A document preparation mode is set by operating the function key of a keyboard and a character code is inputted from the keyboard. At such a time, no hardware area is displayed on a CRT screen 1 of the word processor. When inputting the image data at the middle of the document, handwrite input mode is set by operating the function key. A handwrite area 10 is displayed on the CRT screen 1. This area 10 can be moved freely vertically and horizontally in the CRT screen 1 to the position desired to be inserted with the image data. By resetting the document preparation mode after completely inputting the image data, the handwrite area 10 disappears and only a handwritten graphic 9 remains. |
