PURPOSE:To point-out error by observing an original with the eyes while hearing the outputted sound of a document by controlling second audio information so as to be outputted after instructing the addition of attribute information to first audio information to be outputted. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard 5 instructs the start of sound synthesization. The sound synthesization is started with respect to the document displayed on a CRT 4 or the document designated on the CRT 4 and further character strings inputted from the keyboard 5. One character is read from a character code sequence stored in a ROM 2 and according to the audio information corresponding to the character, sound synthesization is executed. After one character is completely synthesized, an attribute is added to the character code and stored in the ROM 2. It is judged whether all the character codes are completely sound-synthesized or not. The character code sequence as the object of the sound synthesization is edited according to a character code editing program. At such a time, the character code given with the attribute is inversely displayed so as to easily discriminate a corrected part. |
