<p>PURPOSE:To control a power supply of a terminal equipment installed at a remote point without extension of a communication cable and a power cord of the terminal equipment by forming the method in a way that a power supply control signal is superimposed on a communication control signal and the power supply control signal is extracted with the terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:A terminal power supply control command outputted from a host computer 1 is inputted to a modem 3 via a communication line 2. Then the terminal power supply control command is demodulated into a terminal power supply control signal by the modem 3 and the signal is inputted to a 1st terminal power supply controller 4 via a 1st communication cable 9. Then the terminal power supply control signal is outputted to each of 2nd communication cables 10 via each of the 1st power supply control cable 11 and a T-type connector 13a and superimposed on the communication control signal. The superimposed terminal power supply control signal is extracted with a T-type connector 13b of each terminal equipment 6 and inputted to each of the 2nd terminal power supply controllers 7 via each of the 2nd power supply control cable 12.</p> |
