PURPOSE:To easily control popular type electronic equipment provided with no exclusive interface device with a host computer without making any modification, circuit addition, etc. CONSTITUTION:This interface device is provided with registering means 17 and 25 which receive optical signals L1 emitted from a remote control operating section 21 and register the pattern of the signals L1 in corresponding to instruction codes after analysis and instruction generating means 18 and 20 which fetch the patterns corresponding to the instructions generated from a host computer 15 out of the patterns registered in the means 17 and 25 and introduce the patterns to the light receiving section 29 of electronic equipment 28 after converting the patterns into optical signals L2. |
