A cementing composition for an oil or analogous well, essentially constituted by a solid fraction suspended in a liquid medium, in that the packing volume fraction (1 of the coarse fraction of the mixture constituted by the ensemble of all the solid species of a mixture, with the exception of the species with the finest particles, is maximised, and in that the solid volume fraction x of the finest particles is less than, or equal to, the volume fraction xo such that: xo = (2 (1 - (1 ) (1 + (2 (1 - (1 ) where (2 is the packing volume fraction of the species constituted solely by the finest particles. Also claimed is a method of formulating a composition. |
