PURPOSE:To enable to abserve the state of fuel top simply and quickly and to enable ease of identification, by repetitively performing the front and back movement of the support stand fitted with a plurality of ultrasonic wave transmitters and receivers and the swing motion of arm. CONSTITUTION:By alternately repeating the operation swinging the arm 7 with a given angle b with reciprocation, and the operation moving the support stand 11 in a given pitch c toward the lengthwise direction of arm 7, a plurality of ultrasonic wave transmitters and receivers 10 fitted with the support stand 11 are scanned almost in flat comb locus on the confirming objective plane, and the detection state of confirmation objective plane by means of ultrasonic waves can be displayed on the display unit 18. In this case, by providing the notch 20 where no ultrasonic wave is reflected on the horizontal plane of the fuel 9 top, since the notch 21 not displayed in the picture of display unit 18 for the part, by selecting the shape and size in various ways, the identification of fuel 9 top can be made. |
