摘要 |
A process is disclosed for flocculating organic polymer impurities, in particular residual polymer fractions, in waste or wash water from the production of emulsion (co)polymers such as polyvinyl acetate, by preflocculation with an organic polymer flocculating agent, post-flocculation with an anorganic, lime-based auxiliary, then by filtration. The invention is characterized in that post-flocculation is carried out at least partially with in situ formed calcium hydrogen phosphate. This process is particularly useful for treating wash and rinse water from the cleaning of production plants and packing drums for emulsion (co)polymers of said kind.
