PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance and the regulation of contact pressure by providing an intermediate gear between the driving shafts of paper feed rollers, and providing the moving side paper feed roller rotatably around the axis of the intermediate gear. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate gear 43 is provided between the driving shafts 30, 31 of paper feed rollers 5, 11, and the moving side paper feed roller 11 is provided rotatably around the axis of the intermediate gear 43. Bearing levers 32, 33 are rotatably supported respectively on the shafts 30, 31. In air cylinders 22, one ends thereof are rotatably supported on hinges 44 through eccentric bushes 45, and the other ends are rotatably connected to the bearing levers 32, 33. The spacing of the paper feed rollers 5, 11 can be thereby adjusted by rotating the eccentric bushes 45 to change the rotational positions of the bearing levers 32, 33. The contact pressure between the fixed side paper feed roller 5 and moving side paper feed roller 11 can be set optionally by regulating the pressure of compressed air to be supplied to the air cylinders 22. |
