<p>PURPOSE:To execute a scroll display of a character even if frequency of an address instruction from an address instructing circuit is low by placing address order of the character in accordance with scroll order. CONSTITUTION:As for each character, its address is determined in order of 'A', 'B'-'Z' in accordance with scroll order. As for the head address of image data of each character, 'A' and 'B' become (j) and (j)+(x), respectively in order, and the following order becomes (j)+2x, (j)+3x, -(j)24x, and (j)+25x. In this case, (x) denotes the address amount corresponding to an image data portion of one character. In such a way, in a character storage circuit, address order of the character is set in advance according to scroll display order, and also, the same one as the final character is placed before the head character of a series of character groups to be scrolled, and the same one as the head character is placed behind the final character.</p> |
