PURPOSE:To provide the electronic musical instrument which can import a natural echo effect by providing a tempo clock generating means, and allowing both of an echo effect of a musical tone and an automatic performance to synchronize with a tempo clock. CONSTITUTION:This musical instrument is provided with a performance information input means 1 which can input performance information, a first musical tone signal generating means 2 for generating a first musical tone signal based on the performance information, a tempo clock generating means 9 for generating a tempo clock, a second musical tone signal generating means 2 for generating automatically a second musical tone signal, and an echo effect imparting means 2 for imparting an echo effect to a first musical tone signal synchronizing with the tempo clock. In such a state, the performance information is inputted to the performance information input means 1, a first musical tone signal is generated, and a second musical. tone signal is generated synchronizing with the tempo clock from the tempo clock generating means 9. Also, by the echo effect imparting means 2, an echo effect is imparted to a first musical tone synchronizing with the tempo clock. |
