PURPOSE:To prevent breakdown of various kinds of driving circuits due to abnormally high voltage discharge regarding an apparatus to display a plurality of lines by vertically deflecting electron beam for each of a plurality of sections and display the image as a whole, wherein the sections are formed by dividing an image on the screen vertically. CONSTITUTION:A discharge gap 46 is formed between a ground and the output terminal of horizontally deflecting output transistors 44, 45 to be connected with a horizontally deflecting electrode 6 of a display apparatus and a fuse 47 is connected between the horizontally deflecting output transistors 44, 45 and the horizontally deflecting electrode 6. Consequently, abnormally high voltage is bypassed and breakdown of horizontally deflecting output circuits is prevented. |
