ANWENDUNG VON STEROLINEN UND SPIROKETALINEN ZUR HERSTELLUNG VON MEDIKAMENTEN ZUR BEHANDLUNG VON PSORIASIS.

摘要

Use of sterolins (glycosides of phytosterols) and spiroketalins (mono-,di- and triglycosides if steroid saponins with a spiroketal grouping attached to C-16 and C-17 positions if the steroid skeleton) as lipoxygenase regulators is new. Suitable sterodins are glycosides of cholesterol and triterpenes such as lanosterol and cyclo-cortenol. Sterolins occur in nature in small amounts and can be prepd. synthetically by the koeings-knoll synthesis. Suitable spirotetalins are glycosides of e.g. diosgenin, yamogsuin, botogenin, tigogenin, hecogenin and oisalagenin. Spiroketalins can be prepd. synthetically by the Kosnigs-Knorr synthesis. The prepn. of diosgenin 3-beta-D-glucosides and sitosterol-beta-D-glucoside is described.
