The appts. to feed fish separately, head-first at given intervals, has a longitudinal trough with a tongue at its end as an extension of the base to support the back or belly. The carrier has a pair of carrier components on both sides of the trough moving along it, with a controlled gap between them. The longitudinal trough pref. has side walls which, with the tongue act as control cams to set the gap between the carrier components, which are supported and moved by a rotary body round its circumference. The carrier components are sprung against each other. A head limit stop is at the path of the fish through the trough, with a pair of catch units pushed apart against spring pressure by the fish. USE/ADVANTAGE - The appts. is for the feed of separate fish, for cleaning, which can handle small fish and other variable sizes, with a high throughput and accurate positioning. |
