PURPOSE:To increase performance effect as a player desires by giving the effect to only a musical sound which begins to be generated in a period wherein the grant of the effect is indicated with an operation element. CONSTITUTION:Performance operation elements 3 realized by pedals, etc., are operated to give specific effect to the musical sound to be generated. A sustain pedal is provided as one performance operation element 3 and its stepping-in state is detected by a control part 1. The control part 1 generates a sustain signal SUS corresponding to the stepping-in quantity of the sustain pedal. In this case, a timbre and effect parameter supply setting part 4 has a timbre specification switch, an effect specification switch, etc., to be operated by the player. The control part 1 inputs the states of those switches and generates various parameters. Then the effect is given to only the musical sound signal corresponding to the sound generation indication in the period wherein the grant of the effect is indicated with the operation element 3. |
