<p>PURPOSE:To provide a digital tape recorder capable of recording so as to permit repeated reproduction without requiring the rewinding of the tape and without producing silent period, as to a digital tape recorder equipped with a rotary fixed head for reciprocal reproducing. CONSTITUTION:This system is provided with a position calculation means calculating a reversing positions t1,2 and a recording end position tEND so that a head 1 can be reciprocated on both sides of the tape and perform recording in a shape of a loop during the reproducing time T of a reproducing source to be recorded, a position detection means detecting that a running tape 3 reaches the respective positions, and an ID recording instruction means instructing the record of an ID code indicating the respective position at each position detected. At the time of recording, an reversing ID is recorded on the tape at the obtained position and the running direction of the head 1 and the tape 3 is reversed, and an end ID is recorded at the obtained recording end position and the recording is ended.</p> |
