PURPOSE:To easily update the position of a graphic in accordance with the editing of a document. CONSTITUTION:An anchor graphic management part 16 manages the graphic generated by a graphic generation part 14 in accordance with the character of the document generated by a document editing part 12. Thus, the anchor graphic management part 16 stores a modification information table number in a character position (anchor position) including the feature point of the graphic in a document buffer 18, and stores a graphic table number showing a position where graphic data in a graphic buffer 22 is stored in a position which the number of a character modification information buffer 20 shows. When the document editing part 12 edits the document, the anchor graphic management part 16 updates a coordinate value in the graphic data referred to by the modification information table number and a graphic table number when the character position of an anchor position is altered. Thus, the position of the graphic is updated in accordance with the editing of the document. |
