This tool is to be used in the production of screw threads in bores. It comprises a shank (1) with beneath two or more work faces (6,7,8). The diameters of these faces are different and if necessary the tooth pitch can also differ. Between shank and workface there are cutter faces which can be used to counterbore the threaded bore (10,11). USE/ADVANTAGE - Prodn. of screw threads in bores. Reduction in tooling required in the magazine saving space. Lower set-up times through reduction in tool changes.
