<p>This crane can be automatically folded, particularly with a view to transporting it on the road. It comprises a tower (6) which can be folded into two parts (7, 8), a jib (10) which is articulated at the top of the tower (6) and supported by a jib tie (20), connected to the top of a rigid upright (24) which is itself articulated on the rear part of the jib (10), and a rear retaining device (26) connecting the top (23) of the upright (24) to the rear part of a rotating frame (3) which carries a cantledge (4). The jib tie (20) is formed by several rigid elements (28, 29, 30, 31) which are articulated to each other. The rear retaining device (26) is formed by a rigid lower element (36), extended at its upper part by a cable (37) and connected by a connecting rod (39) to the lower part (7) of the tower (6). A motorised member (46) connects together the two parts (7, 8) of the tower (6). <IMAGE></p> |
