PURPOSE:To deliver an alarm by previously calculating a differentiated variation of maximum response speed from the response speed of effective power control system, comparing thus calculated differentiated variation with a differentiated variation of actual effective power, thereby quickly detecting abnormality in a governor control system including fuel and prime mover body. CONSTITUTION:Effective power of a generator 1 is detected through an effective power detector 4 and fed to a power controller 5 which regulates the rotational speed of a prime mover 2 through a governor 3 thus controlling the output of the generator 1. At the same time, a monitor 6 operates the differentiated variation of effective power at a differentiating section 6a and thus operated value is then compared, at a comparing section 6c, with a differentiated variation of maximum response speed previously calculated from the response speed of effective power control system preserved in a setting section 6b. |
