PURPOSE:To accurately execute detection without erroneous detection by providing a detecting member having a length >=1/3 of the length in the longitudinal direction of a cleaning member, and detecting deformation by abutting on a variable sheet. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning blade 1 attached to the discharged toner container 2 of a cleaning device abuts on an image carrier 10, and executes a cleaning action. And an aperture part is formed on the rear surface of the container 2, the variable sheet 3 is stretched on this part, and when toner is accumulated in the container 2, the sheet 3 is swollen to be deformed by the pressure. A detecting board 4 attached to the container 2 or an appropriate place on an image forming device main body side in a state where it can freely rock is disposed on the outside of the sheet 3; and when the container 2 is full and the sheet 3 is swollen to be deformed by the toner pressure, the detecting board 4 is turnably displaced on an opposite side by being pressed by the sheet 3. In this case, the sheet 3 has the length >=1/3 of the length in the longitudinal direction of the cleaning member. |
