<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to release a sleep timer automatically by outputting a command to a control part when a magnetic recording part changes to the state of operation, in relation to a magnetic recording and reproducing device capable of releasing automatically a timer controlling the power source of a video tape recorder correspondent to the condition of usage. CONSTITUTION:When the sleep timer is set by an operating part 10, its command is stored in a control part 11. When a magnetic recording part 14 is set to operate by the operating part 10, its command is outputted to a discriminating part 16 by the control part 11. The discriminating part 16 discriminates the command as a command operating the magnetic recording part and outputs a command releasing the sleep timer to the control part 11. The control part 11 releases the stored sleep timer. When a magnetic reproducing part 15 operates, the discriminating part 16 outputs no releasing command.</p> |
