<p>PURPOSE: To provide the simple, economical and improved method and device for testing the completeness of a transmission line. CONSTITUTION: This device consists of a 1st means 10 which generates a 1st periodic 2<n> pseudo-random input test pattern, a 2nd means 51 which generates a 2nd periodic 2<n> pattern in free operation mode independently of the 1st means 10 according to an (n)-bit pattern corresponding to an output pattern outputted through the transmission line, and a comparing means 60 which compares the 2nd pattern with the output pattern outputted through the transmission line and sends a false condition signal F out unless the patterns match each other.</p> |
