PURPOSE:To save useless work for inputting the same character twice by converting input character inputted from a keyboard as 'KANA B (Japanese syllabary) into 'KANJI' (Chinese), displaying the converted 'KANJI' on a Japanese display column and simultaneously displaying a phonetic KANA on a phonetic KANA display column. CONSTITUTION:A 'KANA'/'KANJE' conversion means 2 converts input characters 10 consisting of 'KATAKANA' (square forms of Japanese syllabary) or Roman letters inputted from a keyboard 1 into 'HIRAGANA' (cursive form of Japanese syllabary), the converted characters are outputted to a 'HIRAGANA' display means 3 as 'HIRAGANA' 13 and the means 3 inputs the 'HIRAGANA' 13 and displays them on a Japanese display column 16. When a conversion request 11 is inputted from the keyboard 1, the input characters 10 are converted into 'KANJI', the converted 'KANJI' 14 is outputted to a 'KANJI' display means 4, which inputs the 'KANJI' 14 and displays them on the means 16. When a determination request 12 is inputted from the keyboard 1, the characters to be an object of conversion in the input characters 10 are converted into 'KATAKANA' and the converted 'KATAKANA' 15 are outputted to a phonetic 'KANA' display means 5 and displayed phonetic 'KANA' display column 17. |
