PURPOSE:To provide a nickel-hydrogen storage battery capable of exhibiting an excellent characteristic from the beginning and of maintaining this over a long period of time in a closed type alkaline battery formed by using a negative electrode containing AB2 type alloy such as ZrMn0.6Cr0.2ni1.2 composed of an element such as hydrogen storage alloy, particularly including Zr,Mn or Ni. CONSTITUTION:Nickel hydroxide powder is added to a negative electrode containing AB2 type alloy such as ZrMn0.6Cr0.2Ni1.2 composed of a element such as hydrogen storage alloy, particularly including Zr, Mn or Ni, or nickel hydroxide is formed in a hydrogen storage alloy electrode from nickel salt solution, and a closed type alkaline storage battery is constituted by using this. |
