The synthesis and the use of polymer carriers loaded with nucleic acid bases are disclosed, that in turn contain labeling groups or precursor stages thereof. The thus loaded polymer carrier can be used as a solid or liquid phase for the assembly of oligonucleotides useful as primers for the matrix-dependent, enzymatic synthesis of nucleic acids, for example for the sequential analysis according to Sanger et al. or for the polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
