The method comprises placing a needle (12 or 14) in fluid communication with a chamber, and introducing a liq. into the chamber through the needles and allowing the liq. to exit the chamber and flow back into the network, so that the tubing system is purged with the liq. The method comprises enclosing at least a distal region of the needles within a common chamber (16), and flowing liq. through one portion of the tubing system and into the chamber via one of the needles. The method then involves flowing liq. out from the chamber via the other of the needles, so that air in the tubing system is purged. The method further comprises collecting air in the chamber during the flowing step and venting the collected air from the chamber. |
