A handle for a hand-held power tool, especially a drill, consists of a circular clamp (2) which fits around the tool housing. The ends (2a,2b) of the clamp have holes for a bolt (3) which has a screw thread which is screwed into the end of the handgrip (1) to tighten the clamp around the tool housing. The clamp (2) has a hole for a second bolt (4) which forms an adjustable depth stop for the tool. The handgrip (1) abuts against a bush (6a) which is pressed against a spring element (5) which is fitted around the first bolt (3). The spring element (5) is made from an elastomeric material.
