<p>The subject of the present invention is a protection device for industrial circular pieces, adopting the shape of a cap/stopper for covering the said piece, or penetrating inside its orifice (6b), characterised in that it furthermore comprises a skirt (3) comprising spikes (4) distributed over a peripheral deformable zone (3f) of the skirt, in order to pass from a longitudinal position substantially parallel to the axis XX1 of the skirt and of the said piece, during fitting of the device thereon, to a substantially radial blocking/locking position of the said spikes (4) by deformation of the said zone (3f) in order to fix it onto the said piece.
