<p>The device is more particularly intended for harvesting shellfish which are buried in the sea floor, such as clams raised in parks. It essentially consists of a harvesting head capable of being moved in the water over the bottom, which comprises two transverse rotary rollers (6, 7) creating a rising current of water, and collection means for receiving the elements carried away by this current. With the rotary rollers (6, 7), there are associated pressurised water jet means (9, 10) for producing an undermining in depth in the zone of action of the rollers, in order to cause detachment of the shellfish, which are then carried away by the rising current of water. <IMAGE></p> |
