<p>An apparatus for feeding and weighing textile fibres, especially cotton and synthetic fibres, has two series- arranged filling shafts (3, 4) above a weighing container (2) and charged with fibre material. The upper filling shaft (3) is closed at its lower end by two controllable take-off rollers (6a, 6b) and the lower filling shaft (4) is closed at its lower end by at least one controllable shut-off flap (18). The weighing container (2) is pre-filled at high-speed and then topped up with flocks more slowly. At least one further filling shaft (5) closed at its lower end by controllable take- off rollers (8a, 8b) is above the weighing container (2). The series-arranged filling shafts (3c) are provided for pre- filling and the further filling shaft (5) is provided for topping up. During the filling of the weighing container (2) from the further filling shaft (5), a series-arranged filling shaft (3 or 4) is filled with fibre material. <IMAGE></p> |
